This project not only renovated the existing kitchen of a large 1920's house, but developed a cross-axial sequence of spaces related to the kitchen. This accommodation of changing living patterns redirected family activity away from the larger, more formal rooms to a new, bright, casual area including The Kitchen, Bay Window Eating Area, and Family Room. With direct access to a stone Terrace, interior and exterior spaces become interdependent.
