Southport Green is a Transit Oriented Development (TOD) consisting of town homes, one-floor flats, penthouses, offices, the Southport Village Inn, the second location of the Dream Spa and five-star restaurant, La Colline Verte all arranged around an intimate neighborhood green. The project is artfully sited on nearly five acres in the historic village of Southport, Connecticut to blend in seamlessly with its surrounding context. All the buildings and streets are designed to recall the scale and classic detailing of Southport Harbor. Southport Green’s Smart-Growth TOD design promotes the sense of a close-knit pedestrian friendly community. Since the complex is adjacent to the Metro-North commuter rail station, two blocks from the village center with its local merchants who will greet you by name, and four blocks from the harbor, all of one’s needs may be satisfied without the use of an automobile.
Completion: Winter 2007.
